Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet Game Reveals 1st Promo Video

The official website for the Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet game began streaming the first promotional video for the game on Wednesday.

The new version of the Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 game will launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on March 20. The game will feature the character Misaki from the PC version of the Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacationgame.

Regular physical and digital copies of the game will cost 7,800 yen (about US$69). The first copies of the game will include two “forbidden swimsuits.” The Collector’s Edition of the game will cost 12,800 yen (about US$113) and bundle the Extreme Sexy Costume S Set with 11 costumes, Venus Collection Photo Book, two Scarlet Deluxe Forbidden Swimsuit Cards, and a Misaki Extreme 3D Mousepad. People who purchase the PS4 version of the game will receive the VR Passport for free from March 20 to April 2.

KOEI Tecmo Games published Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 exclusively in Japan and Asia for the PS4 and PlayStation Vita in March 2016. The game’s PS Vita version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus, and the PS4 version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortune. A PS VR support update for the PS4 version launched in January 2017.

Tecmo released the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball game on the Xbox in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2003. In the game, players play as one of the women from the Dead or Alive fighting game series and partake in volleyball matches as well as other beach-related minigames and shopping. Tecmo released a sequel, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, on the Xbox 360 in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2006.

The most recent game in the Dead or Alive Xtreme series, Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation, shipped for PS4 and PS Vita in Japan and Asia in 2016, and the PC version debuted in November 2017.

In the main Dead or Alive game series, the Dead or Alive 5 game debuted for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. The game’s most recent updated version, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, launched for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, and arcades in 2015.

The Dead or Alive 6 game will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on February 15.
